The Moulin Rouge. A true Paris icon.

The famous cabaret sprung up during the Belle Époque in 1889 (same year as the Eiffel Tower) and still remains open today. It’s mostly just a tourist destination now, sandwiched between grimy sex shops and porn theatres on Boulevard de Clichy. I’ve always been very fond of the district Pigalle.
